Unfortunately, as some of you may have heard, Isabella ended up back in the hospital last week. On Wednesday she got a fever and after watching her for a couple hours we eneded up having to bring her in with a temp of 101.8. It was an awful night for us, watching her get poked and prodded with needles and everything. She was a trooper though. She ended up having to stay there until Saturday morning which was not fun for any of us. They told us that it must have been a viral infection because nothing grew on her blood or spinal fluid. She had to meet her Aunt Sarah and Uncle Matt in the hospital. We were so happy that they came home to meet our little peanut, and very sad when their short visit had to end. We can't wait until we get to see them again in June!

Oh, so sorry! I hope she's doing better now. Kris and Duke had the same thing with Mica when she was 2 weeks old, which is why they missed Jamie's wedding! Glad to hear everything is okay, though.
i talked to shan last week and she told me but i had no idea she was in for so long, how scary that time must have been! i'm glad to hear she's back at home now.
Little Izzy has been in our prayers! I'm glad that she's home and doing better.
I am glad that Izzy is better. What a scare. The pictures are great. I love the one of Sarah and Matt with her at the Hospital. Two weeks old and smiling already! What a sweet little girl! I am finally feeling better and ready to come by and give her hugs and kisses! I'll call you this week. Love you guys!

I heard about this and was heartbroken, knowing how awful it is to see your tiny helpless little thing get poked and scratched and hooked up to stuff. It was AWFUL for us, as I'm sure it was for you, too. We're thankful nothing was seriously wrong with Izzy and hope she is feeling better. She won't remember it!
