Isabella turned 4 months old last Friday. Today we went for her 4 month check up. She did very well. She laughed and giggled at the doctor almost the whole time. She is a very petite little one. She is in the 15th percentile for height and weight and the 25th percentile for head circumference. She is 23 inches long and weighs only 10 pounds 10 ounces. She was a superstar! The doctor said that even the Russian judges would give her a gold medal for being so perfect. She did really well after her vaccinations and calmed down really easily. Here is a video that I managed to take of her. She normally shuts down as soon as she sees a camera but Great Uncle Ray was keeping her entertained in the background.

ok, a few other things i find quite funny after my, oh let's say 50th, viewing of this video:
1) i love how cute babies such as Iz manage to turn grown-up quite burly men into goo goo ga ga type gushing high voice/motherese using people:)
2) i love how baby iz's laughs seem like they are going to turn into cries and cries into laughs:)
The best part is that she gets ME laughing out loud too!!!
She has a long way to go to catch up with Avery! Avery was 23 1/2 inches and 10lb 13oz when she was born. I guess the doctor was right when he said that I had a 4 month old.

she is so cute :) i can't believe that evan is only 3 weeks old and is already almost as big as she is!
