22 months old (can you believe it?)

Despite it being the shortest month on the calendar, February always seems to drag on. This year we have been keeping busy and having a lot of fun as a family. Isabella is talking like crazy, and learning how to count so that she can play her favorite game, Hide and Seek. My favorite thing that she says is "Daddy, daddy, where are you daddy?" (As she is looking for him, and now she says it about anything and everything, it is completely adorable.) Here are some pics that document some of our fun days.

I love putting pigtails in her hair! She looks so grown up!

After a heart-shaped pancake breakfast from Marcus, Isabella and I spent Valentine's Day morning making cheesecake bars. She had to have her apron and chef's hat on for the experience. She is begging to sit on the counter any time anyone is in the kitchen. She loves to observe and get into whatever is within her reach.

Last week we hit the record books. We had the fifth ever snowiest day in February last Wednesday. I think we got 8 inches in about 12 hours, I know that sounds like nothing compared to the snowstorm on the East coast, but this was a ton of snow! We love snow days, an extra day with all of us home together, and the best part was that Peanut was spending the night at Gma. D.'s so Marcus and I got to sleep in for a bit. Marcus diligently was out shoveling multiple times throughout the day, next year we will get the snowblower fixed!

Isabella loves to be naked, as most kids do. In this picture she ran from the bathroom and snuggled up with her stuffed bears next to her bed. This is one of our favorite times of the day. In the picture above she also decided to read some books to her teddy bear, she loves sitting in this rocking chair and reading, another great part of the day.

Here she is enjoying a pb&j and we finally have a messy face, eating picture. When she was little she was so neat with her food, we were never able to get one of these.
