butterflies and family

Here is Isabella and her Great Grandma and Grandpa Hoeksema. They were smitten with her and Marjory told me that she heard Grandpa say that he would like to take her home with him!

She really was trying to smile in this pic. I can't believe how difficult it is to get a decent picture of this girl.

Diligently throwing the trash away in Kelly's trash bag. It was pretty funny and a little scary at the same time.

Isabella was a huge help while Jamie was opening her presents. She showed off some of her OCD tendencies by having to pick up every scrap of paper that was on the floor. Here is a picture of her, Sadie and all of the (former) VanHattem ladies!

This picture was taken at Auntie Esther's house. Isabella and Sadie are second cousins. They played the piano for a while, but mostly played with a giant doll house and played hide and seek!

One of the awesome butterflies to see at the gardens, definitely a great day to spend a gloomy Sunday morning.

Isabella with her Mimi checking out the butterflies.

We have been busy the last couple weekends. We went to visit the butterflies at the Meijer Gardens with Mimi and Papa (John and Marjory) a couple weekends ago, and this past weekend we all squeezed into our car for a trip down to Chicago to visit the Hoeksema family and attend Jamie's shower. It was great to spend some time with the Hoeksema family, we wish that we could see them more often! Isabella and Sadie had a wonderful time together. Sadie came up to me at one point and said, "I really like that girl!" So cute!
