BIG girl room

The day after Isabella turned two we were driving home and we asked her if she wanted to sleep in her big girl bed, or her crib. She said "big girl bed". So we got home, got ready for bed, chose some books to read, and she fell asleep all by herself in her big girl bed. No problem!

Marcus and I just kind of looked at each other, but she has been sleeping in it ever since, with only one fall, on the day of her birthday party. We are pretty much all done with the decorating, still have a few more things to put up, but she loves it and so do we. Our baby is such a big girl these days.

I was trying to get some pictures of her in her room and she turned it around on me and got out her new Elmo camera and said, "Mommy say Cheeseburger!"

We went to Marcus' first softball game of the season on Thursday, and I was expecting Izzy to be all over the place and just as disinterested as she was last year, but was I wrong... She was totally enthralled. She kept asking, "Where the ball? Where Jimmy? Where daddy? What daddy doing? Daddy swing?" I had to apologize to the people around me for having to give a play by play of the softball game. She didn't even want to eat her dinner that I packed for her. It was really quite adorable. Too bad I didn't bring my camera, next time!
