Manistee Camping

We have just returned from, what we hope is, an annual camping trip with the Hoeksemas. Manistee is the best and the water of Lake Michigan, was amazing. It was great playing in the water with all the big kids and watching the cousins in the sand was amazing.

Marjory remarked at one point that she had never seen Izzy so happy! I think that was true, she made herself right at home in the sand and water and could not have been more happy with the attention that she received from her cousins. She definitely loves the outdoors and slept soundly each night through the multiple thunderstorms.

As Isabella was saying good-bye to her Uncle Jeff, she said, "I'll call you." Totally funny!

Christmas in June. We did our homemade gifts during this trip so all the kids got stockings full of treats from Nema and Papa.
