Father's Day

I know this post is a little late, but we are so busy this summer, I have barely had time to do any updating of anything! We had a lovely, warm, Father's Day. We spent it by the pool with great company, and food.

Izzy and I started the day off by preparing crepes for Marcus while he got to lay in bed and relax for a bit. She then surprised him by bringing him a handmade card and some special daddy books for him to read to her. Her card read, "I love my daddy and care about my daddy so much that sometimes I forget that he is the best daddy!" How lucky Marcus is to have such a darling little girl! He is such a wonderful daddy, and I am so lucky to call him my husband and my best friend. I couldn't have picked a better daddy for my daughter!

Izzy cutting goat cheese for the goat cheese and fig crepes, after she tried a taste of them she said, "Mommy I don't like what you made."

"Surprising" daddy with her card and gifts, and a big smooch!

Eating crepes!

Grandpa, Izzy and Papa chillin' in the pool.

Izzy requested that Grandpa sit with her at her table, what a kind grandpa to oblige!

Happy Father's Day!

you have to submit that pic of mr.d and izzy at the table to a card company. i swear hallmark or that other one (american something) would totally use it for a father's day card. classic! i love it
