We celebrated Lucy this past Saturday with her first birthday party. It was a beautiful day and we were joined by so many awesome friends and family. Thanks to all of you that came out to celebrate with us! Lucy was not in the least bit interested in eating her cake, she seemed more annoyed than anything. She preferred the Snappea crisp that I gave her instead. She didn't help in opening a single present, but she has enjoyed some new things to play with around the house.

Lucy also went to her well baby check-up today. She did awful! She cried as soon as the doctor entered the room. She has never been like that before, crazy girl. She weighed in at 15lbs and 13 ounces,(3rd percentile) and is 28.5 inches tall(24th percentile). Just a touch taller than Izzy was and 1 pound lighter. She actually dealt with her shots very well compared to the rest of the visit.

Just in case you wonder what a growth chart looks like for the other end...Avery has only been on the chart once for height in the 97% and the other times the just mark it as "High".
