Walking and Talking!

So finally at 14 months, Lucy decided to start walking and talking! She started off with some baby steps at my grandma's house. She had quite an audience and performed very well, then this past weekend while at my brother's house she said her first word, "daddy!" I asked her who she wanted to hold her, mommy or daddy, and with a beautiful grin she quickly replied, "daddy!" The greatest part is that we were both there to hear her first word and watch her first steps! I am not sure how often that happens for people, but we think we are pretty lucky!

Hanging out at the Shedd's Aquarium, enjoying some crawling around, but doesn't like to have her hands dirty!  Just like her big sister!
