16 months and a ponytail

The new year has begun with a sickly little Lucy.  She had her first sinus infection and ear infection and was an angry, miserable little child for about 5 days.  She is now feeling better and we are so happy to have her back to her old self again!  We made a visit to the doctor for a check-up and we found out she is still quite a peanut.  She is 29.5 inches tall in the 12th percentile and 17.3 lbs in the 3 percentile.  She was a happy little raccoon baby at the doctor's office, ripping the paper off the table into millions of pieces and throwing them all over.  She cried briefly for her shots, but calmed down quite a bit.  She still does not have any words to speak of, she calls everything "da", including Marcus.  She is in LOVE with Max our cat.  She looks for him, watches him while he is outside and give him multiple snuggles every day.   She is walking all over the place and is quite a clumsy little girl, with the bruises to prove it.  She sleeps well, eats well for the most part, and is busy, busy, busy.  We love the little toddler that she is becoming and she brings smiles to our faces each day.  She and Izzy are beginning to interact more and more, and it is great to see them play with each other. 

Here is Lucy Goosey with her new addition, a little ponytail.  Although she hates when I put it in, I can hardly resist because it is so stinkin' cute!!
