We went to the doctor today for Lucy's 18 month check-up! I can hardly believe that she is going to be 18 months tomorrow. It has been a busy year and a half for our family, but a fabulous one as well. She has definitely tested our parenting, and has made us better for that. Lucy is 18.3 pounds in the 1st percentile and 31 inches long, in the 27th percentile. The doctor tells me I have to put butter and cheese on everything she eats!

Lucy is a lady of few words, but she definitely gets her point across without the words. She loves to "smile" for the camera, squeezing her face together, she loves to read books while holding her silky blanket, she is very physical and wrestles and "goes upside down" with her dad and her Papa. We love her for all of her energy, her cute gap between her teeth, her sweet apologies after she has exerted too much force on someone and all the little stuff in between. Our family is complete with her as our baby and we lover her more and more every day!
