One of my favorite days...

October has come and it has brought with it beautiful weather, crisp, cool nights and beautifully sunny days.  We spent one of those beautifully sunny days at Schwallier's Country Basket where the girls were able to interact with animals, climb on bales of hay, check out the apple trees, pick out a pumpkin and enjoy a delicious doughnut and fresh cider.  It was picture perfect!  Izzy helped Lucy pick out a little greenish-orange pumpkin and then took her time finding the perfect round pumpkin with no green on it.  Lucy fell into a rotten pumpkin in the patch and Marcus found some vines and leaves to wipe her off with, another memorable year at the pumpkin patch!

There were a bunch of baby goats that were so stinkin' adorable. Marcus was lulling this one to sleep, by rubbing his ear.

Love that stink eye!

Tromping through the patch!

Izzy reminded me of myself and she searched for the "perfect" pumpkin.  I used to drive my family crazy by insisting on the perfect Christmas Tree. Years later my mom told me they used to tell me they were getting the one I chose, and then they would really pick a different one.

After the pumpkin patch, we went home to enjoy our yard with some jumping in the leaves and climbing the trees.
