a little outing

With a huge storm heading for Michigan we decided to take advantage of one of the last "warm" days we would have this fall.  We took a little outing to the gardens just to get outside and run around.  We had a lovely morning there, it was great to spend some time with just our little family

They were literally posing for me on this rock waiting for me to take their picture.  I think I have created two little picture monsters!

Marcus stopped us to observe this "WoolyBear" caterpillar.  As we sat there and watched it for a while the lady from the information desk came out to tell us that she had been following it most of the morning and that it had been moving around and quite a fast pace.  She brought her camera out to take a picture of us observing it and then told us that when it hatched in the spring it would become an Isabella Moth!  When we told her that was Izzy's name she got so excited.  What a sweet lady she was!
