First Day of Kindergarten and Third Grade

Today we started another school year; Kindergarten and third grade.  Not quite sure how my babies have grown so much, but it happened...  There was a lot of excitement and apprehension going into today, Lucy has three new teachers and was not sure how to deal with the change.  Izzy was not as worried, but still a little anxious.  While sharing our "good and bad" tonight at dinner, it seemed as though it had all worked out.  Lucy said, "My bad was that Miles wasn't in my classroom anymore and my good was that it was still a good day at school (even without Miles)"  Izzy said, "My bad was that I can't stay at after care for as long as I want, and my good was that I started a Harry Potter book and movie club with Taylor and Caroline."  So all is well.  In other good news, both girls came home from school, unpacked their lunches and repacked their lunches for tomorrow.  I know it is only the first day, but here's to hoping that trend continues.
