Merry Christmas

Our Holiday season started early with a trip to see Santa at the Gardens.  It was a 50 degree night and it was a magical experience to walk through the gardens full of beautiful lights and Christmas decorations.  Then, a bunch of us got sick, really sick, influenza sick.  My dad ended up in the hospital, my mom was so sick she couldn't go up and see him, then I got it, then Marjory got it and brought it to her Oma in Toronto and Marjory brought it to Mexico.  Izzy got it, then my sister and then Matt.  It was a solid couple weeks of no fun!  Our holiday festivities were a little delayed due to all of the sickness, but we still managed to sneak in some gingerbread house decorating, Christmas tree fetching, decorating and cookie decorating.  Needless to say, we are all exhausted, but it was all worth it to continue on with traditions and create new memories for everyone.  It was also a beautiful white Christmas!
