19 months and counting...

Isabella is getting to be quite the little girl these days. She has about 20 words in her vocabulary, not that all of you would be able to understand them, but we do. She loves to sing and dance to her favorite music, and she is very busy being a helper around the house, loading and unloading the dishwasher, helping with the laundry and putting napkins on the table for dinner. She is also practicing wearing training pants and going on the potty most of the time. I am really excited about this new achievement and can't wait to stop washing diapers. I know that it will still be a while, but it has definitely been exciting to see her take on this new responsibility. The other day she picked out her favorite book, HOP on POP, and sat down on Marcus' lap and read the title to him, "Hop, Pop!", and then opened the book and started saying "hop", "pop" over and over again. Marcus and I just looked at each other in utter amazement. I think both of us were in shock that our little peanut was getting so big.

By the way she went to the doctor today for her 18 month check up and she is in the 10th percentile for everything, weighing in at 19.6 lbs and 30 1/4 inches tall. She was so brave and didn't cry until they poked her with the shot and then she lost it.

She is such a wonderful loving little peanut and we are more and more excited to see her grow each and every day.

Looking in the window to try and find her kitty brothers!

We have been enjoying beautiful November days. Izzy loves to take her dolls outside for walks and pushes her cart "sast" (fast), anything to add another "s" sound!

In this picture above she found her Skippy Jon Jones animal and gave him a turn on the potty as she read him his own book. I happened upon this situation as I was getting ready the other morning and thought it was pretty darn cute. She is such a little copier.
