This weekend we had a chance to go to the gardens for a taste of spring. There was an orchid show there and it was wonderful, it was such a nice surprise. Izzy liked looking at all of the vibrant flowers, and running around in the conservatory. Later we were able to spend some time with Auntie Lindsay and Auntie Shanna. Izzy bounced around and was sweet and wonderful. She ate cool whip from Lindsay's dad and devoured a huge slice of Lindsay's birthday cake. She made Lindsay's day by saying her name, "Yinzee".

Izzy is exploding with language these days. She has a name for almost everyone in her daily life, except for my mom. She refuses to call my mom anything. The other day my dad arrived home and she went running to the door yelling "Dampa". It made his day! She also now calls Marcus' mom "Mimi". It is so much fun to watch her grow and learn. It is hard to believe that she is going to be 2 so soon.
