So, Auntie Lindsay is a psychologist and she does a lot of work with child development. She told me about this study where you put a spot of makeup on your child's nose and put them in front of a mirror and see if they touch the mirror or their own nose. If they touch the mirror it means that they haven't yet grasped the sense of self-awareness (Correct me if I am wrong Lindsay, PLEASE), if they touch their nose, then they have self-awareness.
