adjusting

September has been all about adjustments for Isabella. The honeymoon has worn off a little at school, she still enjoys it while she is there but while we are getting ready all I hear is, "But mommy..." in this whiny little tone.

She has adjusted to Miles, not exactly loving him all the time, like when he cries she covers her ears and says to anyone listening, "Say the shh, shh, shh to him." But at other times she can be very sweet admiring his "tiny little ears, tiny little feet, tiny little mouth, and his big head."

We have also been enjoying the boom to our city with art prize. It is a welcome attraction in our household and Izzy and I have been down numerous times to enjoy the fun.

Little does she know she is in for one more major adjustment this weekend when the boppy fairy is going to come to take away her pacifiers. We have been talking about it a little bit, but I am sure that it will still be a shock when it actually happens. I will let you know how that goes...

Here are a few pictures of our last month

This was so funny... There was this piece with all of these goblins squatting down and looking at this rabbit. Izzy walked right over and did this immediately and said, "what are they looking at Mommy?"

Izzy's favorite Art Prize piece the family of elephants!
