all things Christmas

Thanks to Mother Nature we were able to start our holiday break a little early this year with a snow day on Friday!  We have been busy being sick, and in between that we are trying to be festive.
We took a trip to see Santa just before the stomach bug hit me last Saturday.

Lucy was too nervous to sit on Santa's lap so I accompanied her.

Every one was being soooo patient!

While I was sick on the couch for the afternoon Marcus graciously offered to help Izzy decorate the Gingerbread House she had been waiting to decorate.
We had a little Christmas early with the Kushinkas before they head to Pennsylvania.
We have a new walker!!
We spent a magical evening with the neighbors decorating cookies, eating awesome food and the best part of all - caroling.  Thanks to the ice storm we slipped and tumbled our way down the street to sing carols to our neighbors.  It was amazing!  A good time was had by all, young and old.

We topped it all off with some family cookie making of our own.  Thanks to my mom I can actually be remembered in this memory!
So proud of her stacking sprinkles!
