In the morning Marcus, Izzy and I were supposed to run in the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. Marcus and I chickened out because we thought it was going to be too slippery as there was new snow falling and it was very cold. When Izzy woke up she informed us that she in fact still wanted to run her mini trot and so away we went. We bundled everybody up and headed downtown to watch that little girl run! We are so proud of our little Magoo!

Waiting for Sissy to come running by, and in the meantime checking out a Turkey and a Tiger that trotted by.

She earned herself her first trophy!
We enjoyed a nice quiet Thanksgiving with family at my grandma's house. It was low key, snowy and smelled and tasted delicious. My Uncle Denny made a fire and we wrestled, read and snuggled until it was time to go home.

When we got home Lucy and I took some time to snuggle under the quilt that I just finished for her. It was my first quilting project and I really enjoyed all of it. Marjory was of course a huge help, but by the end I was comfortable doing the sewing and found it quite cathartic.
