Lucy's Gymnastics

Since September Lucy has been taking a Parent and Tot gymnastics class.  She started off very shy and with few skills.  She always seemed excited to go, but I wasn't really sure that she was actually learning any of the skills.  This session Marcus and I debated sending her at all, but we decided in the end it was good for her to be able to go and run around and get some energy out since it has been so cold outside.  She must have heard our conversation, because she has decided to step it up and prove us wrong.  She started this session with a confidence that I had not seen before.  She is super excited about going, and while she is there she is focused and working hard.  I am so proud of my little goose!  I know this all may sound silly for a 2 year old, but she is now able to do a decent seat drop, apart/together and tuck jumps on the trampoline.  When she started she couldn't even jump on the trampoline without assistance.  She knows the names of many of the "exercises" that we do and she rarely has to be called back to participate.
Practicing her head stand, her arms are still too short to allow for hand stands!

Stacking and counting cones!

This was a new move for her this time, and she did a great job!

Running down the tumble trak to be thrown in by Miss Kristie!

Carefully choosing her stamps.  She pick one of the same ones every time, a small car from the movie Cars.
