a summer night at the fair

Last year we discovered the county fairs that happen all summer long all over Michigan.  It was on my bucket list to do again this summer, and so last night was the night.  Lucy adores animals of all kinds, so she loved walking through the barns and barns of animals.  We also got the added bonus of watching my little cousin ride her horse.  As Marcus exclaimed, "This is just good, clean, family  fun".

This horse's name was Lucy!

We packed a little picnic and sat and watched the horses while we ate.

This pony was seriously only about as tall as Lucy, it was so freaking cute!

As this ride started Izzy was so so sweet to put her arms around Lucy to keep her safe, what an adorable little moment.
