It is the eve of her birthday and my heart and head can hardly believe that it has been a decade since I met this little lady. She came into this world fast and furious and she hasn't stopped since. Lucy loves a good party, she loves spending time with people and family and loves any excuse to dress up and put on some make up. You can often find her in her room listening to an audio book, hunched over her caboodle mirror applying her latest makeup. If you don't find her there then she is in grammy and grandpa's pool. She will be the first one in and the last one out, often asking for her meal to be served to her pool side! She enjoys reading graphic novels and listening to books with Izzy and myself. If it sparkles she loves it! If it makes you laugh she wants more. She is full of energy and is up for most things. Pandemic times have been hard on people, but when you are an extrovert like Lucy it can be especially hard. She is happy to be in school and seeing all her friends, while wearing her sparkly masks. But while she seems so much more grown up to me, she still gets put to bed with her dad singing her Boomdiada, which makes my heart so happy.
We love you so much Goose and can't wait to see what this year brings for you. Cheers to ten years on this planet! It hasn't been the same since you arrived!
