We had a surprisingly warm St. Patrick's day and celebrated with Nema and Papa, a grill-out, green milk and mint chocolate chip dessert. Izzy had a "beach" day with her friends it was so warm and finished up playing some baseball with Nema. The next couple days brought us to Chicago for Grandpa Hoeksema's funeral. It was a sad occasion, but joyful to celebrate Grandpa with all of the Hoeksemas. Lucy was able to meet Auntie Jordan for the first time which was a treat! We ended our stay at a park, in the grass, having fun. Goodbye Grandpa Hoeksema, we love you.
