Izzy has been doing lots of new and exciting works at school. She is coming home daily singing new songs, recognizing more numbers and figuring out the sounds that words begin with. It is so fun to watch her as she learns and grows independently of us. We cherish the time that she is at school and learning so many great skills. Like I have said before, her teacher is amazing and sends us weekly pictures of the classroom. Here are a couple of pictures of her and her new work.

Izzy and her buddy Theo, the caption to the picture said that Izzy was teaching Theo a lesson that she had learned previously.

In this picture she was playing "I spy" with sounds of pictures.
This is the moveable alphabet, one of the materials I remember the most from Montessori. So cool to see her working hard.

I love it!! Go Spindle Boxes and the Colored Bead Step, which apparently she already knew and Theo needed to learn:) She looks happy in that last one with the objects she sounded out and spelled, too! Good for her!
